Theron`s Bockwurst

Theron`s Bockwurst is manufactured the traditional way, and made from 100% pure grounded beef. Bockwurst originated in Germany and it is claimed that Bockwurst was invented in 1889 by restaurant owner R. Scholtz of Berlin. The sausage is traditionally made from ground veal and pork and then flavoured with salt, white pepper and paprika, cooked and then wood smoked to perfection.
Theron`s Meat products manufacture our Bockwurst form only the best minced beef, adding special herbs and spices. The sausage is steamed and wood smoked to perfection. Theron`s Bockwurst is stuffed into a collagen casing, therefore extended boiling should be avoided. The casing may split open and the Bockwurst may look unappetizing and lose flavour to the cooking water. All Theron`s sausages are cooked and should therefore only be warmed by adding it to boiling water for about 3 to 5 minutes. Placing it in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius render a brown and tasty product.
Theron`s manufacture two kinds of Bockwurst: Regular Bockwurst and a Cheese Bockwurst, (using real matured cheddar cheese) . Theron`s Bockwurst is available in 9 inch and 12 inch sizes and packed in 1kg, 2kg and 5kg packagings.
