Theron’s Meat Products is a well-established,family-run business that has been manufacturing value-added meat products for wholesale and retail businesses since 1983.

We are indeed famous for the wide variety of sausages, of which Theron’s famous Boerewors, Russians, Chicken Viennas, Cheese Grillers, Frankfurters, and Bockwurst are just a few. We are proud to be one of the few processed meat factories that use the traditional wood smoke method to give our products extra flavour and extended shelf life. Theron’s meat products are produced in a limited number of meat processing plants with a sought-after accreditation to process imported pork shoulder ribs, which is fast becoming one of our flagship products. True to the South African culture, we stock various quality braai products, such as the famous Theron’s Boerewors, Woodsmoked Belly Braai Ribs, Decadent Kassler chops, and  Breakfast Bacon sausages.

The key to success for this landmark factory near the Pretoria showgrounds in Pretoria West has many facets. Apart from the owner’s firm belief in sticking to manufacturing quality products at affordable prices rather than succumbing to cheap produce lines, Theron’s meat products extended wholesale prices to the public in 1995. The wider Public received the ensuing savings with great enthusiasm. The loyalty and patronage of our much-appreciated clients were the foundation for the new landmark Factory shop in Charlotte Maxeke Street (formerly Mitchell Street), which was built and fully operational in November 2009.
